Well thanks Ian.
Five things you don’t know about me (well you probably do):
1. I did a course in outdoor recreation-interps. I would like to do the full out-door rec course, purely out of interest not necessarily for a job.
2. Cool, damp pockets of ferns surrounded by moss covered boulders and hanging vines, morning mist still clinging to the secluded hollow. Take me here and I will be happy.
3. My favorite book for years and years while I was in primary school was My Sister Sif by Ruth Park. A story about two sisters who were able to breath under water and talk to the merpeople that lived off the coast of their island and the “faeries” that lived in the tropical mountains that rose up from the beach where they lived. I love escaping in books.
4. I find it really unattractive and kind of offensive when peopleĀ fart, burp and have overly dramatic bouts of sneezing in front of me. Evey now and again yes it just happens, but please try for a little self control. I like it when men are men not slobs (I know girls fart too, but how many do you know that make a show of it ?
). We may be friends or even family but its still gross.
5.I did not plan to become a mother so young, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love my boys. To see them laugh together gives me so much joy.

Well really pulls himself up on the lounge and his cot. Its a good start and Jester looks extremely proud of himself when he manages to do this.

A school that is small. Boys can rough house. Children are taught the art of conversation as well as their lessons. Teenagers learn to use a chainsaw, ride motorbikes, light fires, chop wood and still enjoy class.
The perfect school? Well pity we don’t live in Victoria and can afford $ 8000 a year per child.

Or so Matty thinks.
This morning we were reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. Apparently I most resemble the caterpillar after he has eaten way too much. Not when he is a beautiful butterfly though. Matty was very clear on that point. Well for a little boy whose greatest ambition is to be as big as his daddy, I suppose he was really paying me a compliment
